Very cold during the night did not
Sleep very much. At 9 A.M. Drew
Soft Bread & Molasses. And At 1 P.M.
Drew Rice Soup. Very hot during the
day, and cool in the evening. At
4 P.M. we were counted off by the
Quarter. Master. 5 P.M. drew our Rations
of Wood. One Man Shot sometime in
the Night last Night. for Some
cause our other. 10 men went out
at the sink 3 of them were caught
I suppose the Rest got away.
They say that 20 men left today
the Guard went with hem
No shake today.
