Monday Oct. 24th [1864]

Morning Cloudy & cool. At 9 A.M.
commenced drawing Rations. We
drew Flour instead of Bread. Nearly
all the Camp drew Flour. Sprinkled
Rain, but cleared off by 12 M. In
the Afternoon they issued 2 tents
to the squad. Clouded up and
rained a little then cleared off.
We put up our tent a Sibley. Drew Rice Soup.
